...through my eyes

at first I felt like I had nothing to post about today. But then i went through all my SD cards and saw all these places I went, the shopping I did, the food I ate. All these little moments that I had that I wanted to share with you, but never found the time.... so I decide to create this theme post called "through my eyes" (I been hitting the Peter Gabriel pretty hard recently)

I did some explorations, some of these pictures are a few days old, some are months old, I just wanted to share these musings and nuances of my daily life with you, things that make me laugh, cry, or even just sigh (heh) let me know what you think of this, I have so many pictures I want to share I could do this for whenever I have blog downtime (haha!) Its kinda like what i did last time with the less words more pictures...but more organized ^^

Less Words More Pictures

Do you ever just get so many pictures that you want to blog and they just get piled up? I just wanted to show you some highlights of this weekend. I went home to visit the studio & my mom and my brothers. It was great, the food was awesome, and despite a few headbutts I am overall happy with my visit. I was also able to get some things out of storage...and do some killer thrifting but I'll show my steals later :D

I'm not ashamed of shopping at Aldi, especially when you stumble upon something as wonderful as this

trying to prep it up on Friday on my way to mistuwa, I think I was a boy in another life. My shirt reminds me of that duck hunting video game...with that STUPID DOG..

some of what I got at mistuwa, I wont bore you with groceries, but I'm pretty stoked about these zines, one for every fall month! +I guess they're making a paradise kiss movie...

recent make gets, from f21 no less. I could not resist brown pallete. I actually love it , its very saturated and creamy. I'm surprised. I'm glad I didn't get that urban decay now

cardi I found in my moms studio that she was getting ready to destory and repurpose DX, I saved it and ran away because it reminded me so much of WC...not completely BUT IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE IT!

I went record shopping a week or so ago, GOT THESE NUMBAS (i know none of these are to brag about, but I love all music, nothing is "bad" really....well...ok lets just not "go" there)

me escaping with my best friend to 3flyods after dealing with family all weekend. I love them! dont get me wrong, but everyone needs 4 glasses of hard cider every now and again....=_=;;;

That is one of my favorite coordinates, overalls with a strippey cardie, even though i really want the polka dot one from W<3C its sold out everywhere!!! DX

I just wanted to show you guys a few more random things...As stated before my mother came into the city to visit me and stayed at my apartment this past Easter weekend. And of course, we did some shoppin' Being that my mother is a fashion designer, we can go to the whole sale market and buy things that are normally $12-$500 for like $1-100 bucks!! I found this Miffy necklace and just had to have!

I got this cuff too, that i basically wear everyday!
I feel like its so on trend, especially paired with some fun bangles :D

I also got this eco tote, it look so much like Minnie mouse I luv it XD

Plus we did some for realzie shoppin at barney's, bloomie's etc, and I found this kitson shirt crop tee!!

I could care less about the connotations that Kitson has in the US (Lindsay, Ppl from the Hills, etc..) I love the Kitson trend in Japan, and Crop tee's are soo Jun Hasegawa! I've been wanting one, but i hate having to wait a year for japanese trends to finally cross the river, dear Lord 9_9

My mom and I also went to starfruit. Do you have those by you? It's frozen kefir, has less kcals than frozen yogurt. This treat we had was only 30kcals! (15 kcals each :P) I think I found my new summer treat!!!

Anyway, not much else happened when my mommy came over besides spending monies :D, I also went back to her place later that weekend because my brother and his wife were having an Easter BBQ, we had a pork roast which I felt was sacreligious, LOL, oh well, I don't mind eatin swine!

I also got my new issue of Nylon, (which was a free subscription promo Urban Outfitters had last year :P) AND IT FINALLY HAD A BROWN GIRL ON THE COVER, OMG... this rarely happens...It's sorta bittersweet, I mean she's "brown" not black, to everyone else she looks black but I know she Latina, but whatever, if I marry Panda, our kids will be confused so whatever, I TAKE WHAT I CAN GETS...

okay that's it with this random post. I keep having these...i think cuz I take so many pics, I never have anytime to post, they all pile up, this week so far I have posted every night!! XD
